The Lebanon Parks PDF Print E-mail
The Lebanon Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of parks and recreational activities for the community. There are a total of 6 parks that are maintained by our staff.
The Parks Department provides many programs for children and adults ranging from swim lessons and adult water aerobics to Christmas at the Cabin.Covered shelters and a cabin are available for the public to reserve for special occasions and family reunions.Please take a moment to discover the exciting programs the Lebanon Parks has to offer.
Memorial Park, located at 130 East Ulen Drive, offers over 40 acres of recreational area. This park is dedicated to the veterans of World War I. The park is host to many of the Fourth of July activities. It is also the site of many family reunions and company picnics. The following recreational facilities are available for your enjoyment at Memorial Park:
 

Lebanon Parks & Recreation's Water-Walking class returns! This is a 1-hour program in which you water-walk the first 30 minutes of the class at your own pace. The second 30 minutes consists of instruction with the use of a variety of weights, floaties, aerobic exercise & some lap swimming to give you a total body workout. To register or for more information please contact Stacey Ammerman, Programs Director, Lebanon Parks & Recreation at the Memorial Park Office, 765-482-8860. Jump into this class to get back in shape for swimsuit season!

Abner Longley Park, named after the founder of Lebanon, is located at 1601 Longley Drive. It offers over 50 acres of recreational space. The park can be accessed from either Beck Street or Hendricks Drive. The Symphony at Sunset featuring the Indianapolis Orchestra starts off the Fourth of July festivities each year at Abner Longley Park. The following facilities are available at the park:
